NAFTO now offers Agency Memberships

NAFTO is pleased to announce that it is now offering agency memberships. Departments will be able to join NAFTO and gain the benefits of the organization for its entire FTO unit.

Since NAFTO's inception membership has been based on the individual. As times change NAFTO has grown to meet the demands of the 21st century. One of NAFTO's platforms is to promote the field training concept in law enforcement, corrections, and communications throughout the United States. We have been doing just that one individual at a time. With this new concept of membership we will be able to start changing the attitudes and perceptions of field training and on-the-job training at a department level.

This new membership pattern will give options to larger department who would like to be involved with NAFTO on behalf of their officers but find such a large bill cost prohibitive. NAFTO hopes that this new membership strategy will open the door for larger agencies to become more involved in NAFTO.

With agency memberships each of the member agencies will receive NAFTO benefits for all of it's field training officers. To encourage and protect the NAFTO State Chapters agencies in states with active chapters will not be eligible for agency memberships.
