NAFTO is very pleased to announce the addition of Emergency Medical Services to our growing family. NAFTO has been in talks with members of the EMS training community for some time and after an in-depth discussion regarding EMS, EMS Training, and the FTO concept we are very happy to announce their addition to NAFTO.
NAFTO has fostered the on-the-job-training concept for over 20 years and EMS has been utilizing the same training approach for just as long. While we have focused on the law enforcement, communications, and corrections side of field training we have overlooked the medical services. Just as we work hand and hand with EMS personnel day in and day out we are proud to be able to bring them into our professional organization. Welcome EMS!
There will be future changes regarding by-laws and even logo's to reflect the change in the overall structure of NAFTO membership. Thes is such an exciting time to be a member of our growing organization.
