Please join me in congratulating Lt. Don Schmuhl with the Indiana University Police Department - he was awarded NAFTO FTO of the Year - 2012.
Lt. Schmuhl has 37 years with the IU Bloomington Police Department and was instrumental in creating IU's first FTO Program. As a Officer, Sergeant and Lieutenant he has always been involved with making IU's FTO program state of the art. In addition, Lt. Schmuhl is an Instructor at the IU Police Academy.
We will formally recognize Lt. Schmuhl for his outstanding commitment to training during the 2012 annual conference (awards banquet dinner).
