Rise in 'unintended discharge' shootings during police trainings raises safety questions

In the past four months, there have been at least three training shootings nationally.

Safety is job #1 in training. Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Please read this article and ask yourself:
 
  1. Do we take safety seriously?
  2. Do we assign a safety officer to all training sessions? 
  3. Have we attended a course on simulated training sessions and using simulated weapons?
